CCCP Organization

An executive committee composed of the President, President-Elect, Past-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Education Coordinator directs the activities of CCCP. Standing committees of the Organization include an Education Committee, and an Awards Committee.

CCCP was formed in 1992 as an active Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and as such, also supports the mission and goals of our parent organization. CCCP also recognizes the unique characteristics of pharmacy in Canada, and is committed to work with other pharmacy professional organizations in the promotion and advancement of pharmacy in Canada.

The ACCP is a professional and scientific society that provides leadership, education, advocacy and resources enabling clinical pharmacists to achieve excellence in practice and research. ACCP's membership is composed of practitioners, scientists, educators, administrators, students, residents, fellows and others committed to excellence in clinical pharmacy and patient pharmacotherapy.

ACCP pursues its mission by:

providing leadership, education, advocacy, and other resources that enable pharmacists to achieve excellence in clinical practice and research; advancing pharmacotherapy through support and promotion of research, training, and educational programs; and disseminating peer-reviewed, innovative scientific and professional information and knowledge that catalyze change and advance drug therapy.
